What you'd actually be doing

Two buttons on a phone or tablet. That is the whole job.

  1. A parcel arrives

Tap Receive, scan or type the customer's Hola ID, put the box on the shelf. Around fifteen seconds.

  2. We do the chasing

We text and email the customer, run the reminders, take the payment and handle late fees. You never invoice a resident.

  3. They collect

They show a six-digit code. You type it in, hand over the box. Done.

What you never have to do

  • No app to install: it runs in the browser you already have.
  • No card machine, scanner or label printer.
  • No chasing anyone for money. We charge the customer, not you.
  • No contract lock-in. Give us a month's notice and stop.

What we pay you

€3,572

77% of what 1,398 parcels a month bring in

Paid by bank transfer every month, before your own tax.

Extra counter salesEstimate

+ €979

Assumes 20% of people collecting buy something, averaging €3.50

A guess, and not money we pay you. We have kept it separate on purpose.

You'd need shelf room for roughly 115 parcels at any one time.

Take-up is the share of the resort's properties that sign up. These are projections, not promises. They assume we market the service properly and that you are the only collection point on the resort.

What you earn

You keep 77% of everything they pay

We keep the other 23%, and everything listed below comes out of it. That is the whole arrangement. Here is what it looks like on real customers.

Somebody collects one parcel

They pay €4.99 for it.

You get

€3.18

for that parcel

Every parcel, whoever it belongs to, whether they are on a plan or not.

Somebody on a monthly plan

They pay €14.99 a month and collect around 8 parcels.

You get

€15.89

a month, from that one customer

Month after month, for as long as they keep the plan. Ten of them on the resort is €158.90 a month.

What our 23% pays for

  • Every SMS and email to the customer, including the reminders that get parcels off your shelf
  • Card payments, failed payments and late fees, all chased by us
  • The software, and the support line for the customer who cannot find their code
  • Your monthly invoice, raised and filed on your behalf
  • Any billing or payment dispute, which comes to us and never to you

Nothing is deducted from your share. No joining fee, no monthly fee, no minimum, no card charges and no bad debt.

No new kit

It runs on what you already have

No new kit, no new staff, no new opening hours. Four things you have today are the entire operation.

A metre of shelf

Behind the counter or in the back. That is the warehouse.

The phone in your pocket

Two buttons in the browser you already use. Nothing to install.

Your opening hours

Whatever they are. We only ever tell customers what you tell us.

Somebody at the counter

The person already serving is the person who hands over a box.

Beyond the fee

And the part that is not on the invoice

Every collection is a person walking into your shop who was not coming in today.

Roughly 20% of them buy something while they are there.

They come back every time a parcel does, which for a subscriber is most weeks.

Being the only collection point on the resort is a position, not a favour. It is yours while you want it.

Fair questions

What if a parcel goes missing or gets damaged?

The platform logs every parcel in and out with a timestamp, so there is always a clear record of what you took in and handed over. HolaParcel is the intermediary, not the insurer: a parcel that never reached you is between the customer and their courier or seller, and the log proves what did and didn't cross your counter. Our terms spell that split out for customers, so it's settled before anyone's standing in your shop.

How and when do I get paid?

Monthly, by bank transfer, for every parcel handed over that month. We generate the invoice for you. You don't have to raise one. You authorise that when you sign up.

What if someone never collects?

We chase them and charge storage from day six. After 21 days the parcel is flagged for return to sender: the courier collects it from your counter, and we handle the messages and the charges.

Can I stop?

Yes, with a month's notice, which gives us time to move customers to another point. No exit fee.

Do I need to speak English?

It helps, but the screen does the work: you're matching a code, not holding a conversation. The system is in Spanish and English.
